Visit or contact any of our local Tourist Information Centres (TICs) to access a wealth of detailed, up-to-the-minute information, events and activities taking place. All the offices offer free help and advice from trained tourism experts and will allow you to access priceless local knowledge.

Hexham Tourist Information Centre

Medieval market town Hexham has many historic features including a Norman Abbey. Located in the picturesque Tyne Valley, a short distance from World Heritage Site Hadrian's Wall, it is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside. The TIC is located in the main car park.

The National Park Centre, a World Heritage Site, is situated on Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland National Park. Visitors may enjoy a ride along Hadrian's Cycleway past many picturesque villages and Roman forts.

Haltwhistle is a small market town built on the banks of the river South Tyne in rural Northumberland. It has the distinction of being nearest to the best preserved sections of Hadrian's Wall, and forms an ideal touring base.

The medieval market town of Morpeth is set in the hills and valleys of Northumberland and makes a perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside before settling down in a cosy pub. The Information Centre is found in the 13th century Chantry.
